About the Game

In 2013, the first-ever Souls and Goals Soccer Cup was played at St. Dominic High School. The match is held every year during the National Vocation Awareness Week—a weeklong celebration designated by the USCCB dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate and consecrated life through prayer and education.

The game, featuring Archdiocesan priests (and friends) vs. seminarians, is free and open to the faithful. Concessions will be available. Please arrive by 6:30 for the start of the program; kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.

Pope Francis said of the game, "It will really be a bit difficult for me to root, but luckily it's a friendly match!*
